By accessing our website at www.qmtaxikauai.com or booking any service from QM Taxi & Tours LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
QM Taxi & Tours LLC provides taxi transportation and private island tour services on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Services can be booked through our website, by phone, or by email. All bookings are subject to availability.
3. Bookings & Confirmation
- Submitting a booking request does not guarantee service. Bookings are confirmed only after you receive a confirmation notification from us.
- You must provide accurate contact information (name, phone number, email) to complete a booking.
- Bookings must be made at least 30 minutes in advance. For immediate service, please call us directly.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Standard Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- No-Shows: If a driver is dispatched to your location and you do not show up, you will be charged 100% of the estimated fare.
5. Pricing & Payment
- Taxi fares are estimated based on distance and may vary due to traffic, detours, or route changes.
- Private tours are offered at a rate of $90 per hour (2-hour minimum) for the entire vehicle (up to 6 passengers).
- Additional charges apply for luggage ($2/standard, $6/oversized or surfboards).
- Payment can be made directly to the driver (cash or card) or online via credit card.
- Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
6. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By opting in to receive text messages from QM Taxi Kauai during the booking process, you agree to the following:
- You consent to receive automated text messages related to your booking, including confirmations, updates, and ride reminders.
- Message frequency varies based on your bookings (typically 1–4 messages per booking).
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- SMS consent is not required to book or purchase any service.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final confirmation message.

- We will not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. Coverage is not guaranteed in all areas.
7. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must be at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time. We will wait up to 10 minutes before the booking may be marked as a no-show.
- All passengers must wear seatbelts as required by Hawaii state law.
- Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during their ride.
- Children under 4 years must be in an approved car seat (please bring your own or notify us in advance).
8. Limitation of Liability
QM Taxi & Tours LLC shall not be liable for delays or failure to provide services due to weather conditions, road closures, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
